Owen Roe Winery is a neighborhood tasting room and wine studio on North Albina Avenue, dedicated to small-batch Oregon wines that reflect the soil, the season, and the people who make them. No reservations required — just pull up a chair.
Owen Roe Winery started with a simple conviction: the best wines aren't kept behind glass doors and velvet ropes. They're shared at a counter with strangers who become regulars, poured with curiosity and care.
Located in Portland's historic North Albina neighborhood, our tasting room is a gathering place for anyone who loves a well-made glass of wine. We source from small Oregon vineyards and craft every batch with an eye toward clarity, balance, and a sense of place.
Each label in our current lineup is a story about a particular vineyard, a particular season, and a particular decision to let the fruit lead.
Bright cherry and wild strawberry on the nose, with a silky, earthy finish. Grown in the Dundee Hills and aged in French oak for ten months.
Lime blossom and wet stone, with a crisp, mineral-driven palate. Dry finish with a whisper of petrol — classic Oregon Riesling, done right.
Pale salmon hue, with watermelon rind, rose petal, and a bright acidity that makes this the ideal afternoon wine. Crisp, dry, and impossible to put down.
Whether you're a seasoned collector or just discovering what Oregon wine can be, our space is designed for unhurried exploration. Pull up to the bar, browse the shelf, or sit by the window and watch the neighborhood go by.
We're easy to find, easy to park, and always happy to see a new face.
